The best time to see the autumn colors in Kanagawa is November.
Various autumn leaves spots exist in the prefecture, and the most recommended one is the autumn leaves light up event in Tanzawa Oyama.
Oyama is popular mainly for mountaineers all year long, but the autumn leaves season is particularly popular.
The nearest station is Isehara Station of the Odakyu line.
You can take a bus from Isehara station and it takes about 30min to the Oyama cable car station.
The cable car starts from “Oyama Cable Station”.
The recommended spot is “Afuri Shrine Shimosha” which can be accessed from the end point “Myojo Shrine Station”.
From the inside of the premises of Afuri Shrine you can see the light up of autumn leaves.
And the city night scenery is spreading further.
The lighted up autumn leaves are beautiful not only looking up from the bottom, but also seeing from the high place.
Why don’t you visit Oyama this autumn?
