Coffee and Karai Rice Shop New Castle was established in 1946. Practically right after the war this restaurant has continued to satisfy the hearts and stomachs of the Ginza area with warm food and a shop full of history. Closing in 2012 due to bad building conditions, it was revived with the help of their dedicated customers. Famous for their “Karai rice”, curry rice available in different sizes, the portions are given names from the Keihin Tohoku train line stations such as Shinagawa, Oi, and Omori, which adds a playful feel to the experience. The shop sign and menu have a charm that is held over from days of the past.

[HAKUHINKAN TOY PARK] A long-standing toy store; My first time visiting!
I’m sure there are many of you who have seen bright buildings like this, but have never gone inside. This is HAKUHINKAN TOY PARK, a toy store offering toys, games, character goods, party supplies, and more spanning from the first floor basement to the 4th floor. You can find the “Fashion Doll Park” on the first floor basement, where many fashion dolls like Licca-chan, Barbie, etc. and dress-up doll goods are on display! Men also have no reason to fear as there are items sure to evoke boyhood memories like board games, action games, plastic models, trading cards, etc. which are all available on the “Game & Hobby” floor (4th floor). Be sure to make a visit to this toy store where adults, children, men and women can enjoy themselves.
