Beautiful Japan in Pictures Vol. 1

For those from different countries and cultures, what is considered everyday life for locals, is an unusual and sometimes beautiful scene. If we look again through the eyes of visitors, something mysterious happens; we notice new things and our everyday surroundings become brand-new.

In this entry we introduce photographs of “a moment” in everyday life and the city taken by travelers.

Everyday life becomes fresh and new in photos.

Shinjuku’s pedestrian mall. City buildings and crowds of people are an everyday sight in Tokyo.

Downtown style restaurant. “There’s nothing better than eating like this!”

Evening in Ginza (pictured above) and Asakusa (pictured below that). Japan’s “TASOGAREDOKI” (twilight hours).

Right in the center of Tokyo. Night in Akihabara (pictured above) and Shibuya’s diagonal crossing (pictured below that).

Late at night in Shinjuku. Many Tokyo residents return home by taxi after missing the last train.

Early morning in Ginza.

While leading the world in convenience, the Tokyo subway system is also just as complicated. Even Tokyo residents can get lost.

It’s interesting how the scenery can change depending on who is behind the camera. I have no doubt that Japan will continue to be seen in varying ways by natives and visitors.
