Seasonal flowers in Awaji – Akashi Kaikyo National Government Park

Awaji Island is an island in Hyogo Prefecture, a large island which has about the same size as Singapore.

The convenient way to visit Awaji for sightseeing is either bus or car.

The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in the world with a total length of 3,911m and a central span of 1,991m, leads you to the island.

I learned about Awaji when I lived in Japan.

Since I heard that it is a very beautiful island in which various kinds of flowers bloom in every season, I’d been wondering to visit there someday.

One time, a friend of me invited me to a trip to Awaji Island, but it didn’t realize because of the schedules.

After all, the friend visited there alone and sent me a lot of beautiful photos.

Looking at the picture, I decided in mind that I will definitely go to Awaji next year!

And in the next year, I finally made it!

I visited many places in 1 day, such as Naruto whirlpool, Awagi Hanasajiki etc.

And Akashi Kaikyo Park was the most impressive among them.

The friend and I enjoyed colorful flowers in the park and took a lot of pictures.

There were so many photogenic spots in the park.

The scenery of Awaji was far more beautiful than I have imagined, and it made me forget any stress of my normal life.

Be careful not to miss the bus since this beautiful scenery makes you forget about time.
